Into your eyes I looked recently, O life! And into the unfathomable I then seemed to be sinking. But you pulled me out with a golden fishing rod; and you laughed mockingly when I called you unfathomable. It was the head tracker's marvelous swift response that captured my admiration at first, his split second solicitousness when he heard a cry of pain, his finding in mid air, as it were, the only way to save the injured boy. But there was more to it than that. His action, which could not have been mulled over in his mind, showed a deep, instinctive love of life, a compassion, an optimism, which made me feel very good...

hello

hello.  i doubt anyone still reads this, but I guess it's still worth writing for me and maybe the one or two random souls who check this thing.  Any way, I just started lawschool at Hawaii.  Lots of reading, lots of writing, as can be expected.  It just struck me that this is totally the type of entry I tried to avoid when I created this thing.  Eh, this was a bad idea without anything to write about.

DAN: If you read this give me a call - same number as college.  Your phone number has changed.

"motives and thought ... check your motives and thought"

a time comes when a person realizes all he has left seems expressible in a sigh.

my dad, mom, sister, and me after a couple glasses of wine and beer:

On drinking sour milk after talking shit about soccer: "A big gulp of karma greeted you right in the mouth!"

commence hooting and hollering.

In autumn

even though I may

see it again,

how can I sleep

with the moon this evening?
